How To Order A Cake?
A two week notice is preferable, but if you need a cake before then, don’t hesitate to call us and we will do our best to fit you in!
To start the process please e-mail us at info@yummycakes.us or give us a call at (423) 231-6140 or (423) 327-4692. When contacting us please have the following information:
· The date of your event
· The occasion/nature of your event (wedding, birthday, anniversary, etc.)
· The event location and delivery time
· How many people you will be feeding
· Your daytime phone number
· Your e-mail address
· One to three flavors that you would be interested in
· An idea of what cake design you are looking for. If you have a picture of a cake you like, we always welcome them!
We will contact you as soon as possible to discuss your order.
Price
The price of a cake will depend on its size, type of icing, shape, flavor of cake, complexity of design, and so forth.
Sheet Cakes
Servings based on a standard 2x2 inch slice. Sheet cakes are one layer cakes, approx. 2-inches tall. Additional charges may apply for specialty flavor or design.
¼ sheet cake (9x13) serves 24-28 starting at $25
½ sheet cake (12x16) serves 48 starting at $40
Full sheet cake (16x24) serves 96 starting at $65
Custom Birthday/Celebration Cakes
Base prices (based on 25-35 servings) Additional charges may apply based on size, design, flavor of cake, filling, shape, and icing selected.
2-D (cakes that are cut in the shape of an object, such as, a teacup or robot): $50 +
3-D (cakes that are sculpted from cake, such as, the cat on the ball of yarn or a car):$100+
Tiered cakes (one cake stacked on top of the other) start at $2.50 per serving
Wedding & Grooms Cakes
We price our wedding and Grooms cakes per serving. The prices given are a base price and additional charges may apply depending on design, flavor of cake, filling, shape, and icing selected.
Buttercream $2.50 +
Fondant $ 3.50 +
Additions:
Fillings: $0.50 + per filling/per serving
More than one flavor cake: $0.50 + per flavor/per serving
2-D cakes: $50 +
3-D cakes: $100 +
What Is Your Payment Policy?
A 50 % deposit is required to reserve your order: the remainder is due at least two weeks prior to your event. Your event date and order will not be confirmed until you have signed a contract and made a 50% deposit. We operate on a first-come/ first-pay basis. Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit. Cake orders places with less than two weeks notice require payment in full at time of ordering. There will be no refund on orders canceled within five business days of the event.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation:
- All requests for cancellation must be made in writing.
- If a cancellation is received more than four weeks prior to the promised delivery date, the aforementioned deposit will be refunded less a $50 administrative fee.
- If a cancellation is received less than four weeks prior to the promised delivery date, the aforementioned deposit is forfeited.
